Adelaide born Hugh Sheridan was a natural fit for Sheridan. In addition to his namesake， the multi-talented Australian is best known for his role in ‘Packed to the Rafters’， and whom best reflects the modern， Australian man. Our campaign flaunts Hugh’s killer physique， championing our classic bath and beach towels， designed to provide an instant touch of unrivalled luxury to any bathroom space or summer beach bag.
We sat down with Hugh to discuss what being the face of Towel Man means to him， and got to know the guy behind the towel.
How do you feel about being the Towel Man for our 50th anniversary？
Sheridan is such an iconic Australian brand so to be the face of the 50th anniversary is an honour.
You came home to Australia to shoot our Towel Man campaign， what was the thing that you were looking forward to most being back？
I always jump at any chance to come back to Australia and I love coming back around this time of year when the seasons are transitioning into summer and everyone is out and about. It’s a refreshing change of pace compared to my life overseas. Coming back always gives me the opportunity to catch up with family and friends.
Was Sheridan a part of the Sheridan household growing up？
Always. My sister Zoe actually has a tradition of gifting everyone in our family with a Sheridan beach towel and a robe for Christmas.
After living in LA for so long， what do you miss about Australia and how do you bring a piece of home with you？
I definitely miss my loved ones whilst I am overseas. What’s really nice about living in LA is that I am only one flight away from Australia – recently I have been back almost every month for short work trips which has been nice.
What current projects are you working on？
I recently filmed a movie with Rebel Wilson and Liam Hemsworth in New York which was amazing. I’ve also been writing and recording with my band – California Crooners Club. It’s been such a busy year between travel， acting and my music so I am looking forward to unwinding over the holiday season.
We’re not shy about proclaiming our love of animal print, but our new favorite print is our Serengeti fabric. It’s easy to work into your space because it looks fabulous on so many different pieces. Today, we thought we’d share 7 ways we’ve used our Serengeti print to make a statement in aroom:
Today I’m excited to be sharing another fun Cricut Iron-On project with you. My daughter and I collaborated to create these DIY Ballet Warm-Ups, and have even included a set of hand-lettered Ballet SVG files for you to use. This post is sponsored by Cricut.? I’m thrilled to be working with a company that I love and whose products I use on a regular basis!
